Applications become available around February 1st of each calendar year and must be submitted by May 31st. Applications may be downloaded from this website and information must be submitted using the submit form link found on the application pages (see menu). The awards are announced in June for the upcoming academic year.
For the Scholarship program:
The applicant evaluation procedures take into consideration academic achievement, the expected family contribution toward the cost of education (optional), and the quality of an essay provided by the applicant. The application evaluation process is completed without the evaluators being aware of the names of the applicants and sponsors until after the awards are fully evaluated and rated. For the Trade Aid program:
The applicant evaluation procedures take into consideration high school pending or actual graduation, or GED equivalent, the expected family contribution toward the cost of education (optional) and the letters of recommendation. The Foundation encourages any suggestions to enhance its operations. These suggestions should be emailed to littleitalyfoundation@gmail.com, attention to the Chairperson of the Board.
